Jollof & Grill Restaurant/Lounge

My second time visiting jollof & grill and I brought my friend with me. We were happily greeted upon entering and even got to meet the owner. She’s the sweetest person ever 🩷We ordered the beef suya combo and it was delicious. The jollof rice was flavorful. I love the raw onions and cabbage that comes with it. The beef suya was also cooked to perfection. The plantains were ripe and tasty as well. & Can we talk about portions? You get a lot of food for the price. I shared half w/ my grandma and she enjoyed her food as well. Will definitely be returning in the future!

$24 dollars for some dry jerk chicken and it only came with 3 small pieces of meat never again!

Best suya in new jersey, no debate. Good snd honest owers and people working here

Their food is very good and I order from them frequently, however. If the young girl and young man is in the store, I will never order from there!!! The young lady was on the phone the entire time while she was servicing me. I called to make my order before I arrived and she said “the suya is cooking call back in 20-25 minute”. Telling me to call back as I’m trying to order is so unprofessional and a quick way to lose out on business. Then once I got there, she’s was on a Group FaceTime call talking loud and not even interested in what I was saying. The young guy went in the back to make my food. I ordered the suya, jollof rice and plantain, no cabbage. The platter comes with three components. He put the rice and 1 scoop a suya in the large component and 2-3 plantains in the two small components. I have never been served that little food for $23. Then when i said something about the serving the young girl barely payed attention to me because she was too busy in the phone. I got so pissed off I bagged my own food and left! If the owners, husband and wife, is not there when I want to order, I probably won’t order again. So disappointed this time around and I love their food. But todays customer service was horrible.

Ordered medium Jollof and beef Suya online with a side of plantain. The Jollof had correct Smokey smell and taste but the rice wasn’t as seasoned. The Suya is really good . Plantains were soft but too oily. Enjoyed the food overall
