Today was my first time going there. The Chicken Suya combo was absolutely delicious!!! The seasoning spice had me licking my plate!! The jollof rice was very flavorful!! It was best jollof rice I've ever tasted!!
I got the chicken jollof. The people are very friendly and nice. Rice was just okay but the chicken was definitely very good. I would definitely want to come back but I most certainly will not. I paid $27 literally for some chicken, rice, and cabbage. Call it a portion and a half but I did eat the entire thing. Really though, I can go almost anywhere in this city and get the same, if not better, for $12-15. I’ll be honest, I am not even sure how they remain in business charging...
Jollof & Grill is hands down one of the best West African spots in NJ. I’ve traveled to Nigeria several times, and this is some of the most authentic, flavorful food I’ve had outside of there.
The beef suya is the best — completely unmatched. Perfectly spiced and grilled to perfection. The jerk chicken even surpasses many of the Caribbean spots nearby — smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. And the circle-cut yams are a must — perfectly cooked and seasoned.
