I Usually Order From The Frelinghuysen Restaurant, But Decided To Order From W. Market Instead. I Ordered The Beef Stew W/Pigeon Peas & Rice And Oxtails W/White Rice. Beef Stew ($16.00) Oxtails ($22.00). The Stew Was Great. The Oxtails On The Other Hand Was Tough And Not Much Meat On The Bone (I Know There's Not Much To Begin With & Oxtails Are Expensive), But I Expected Them To Be Fall Off The Bone Damn Good! Maybe It Was A Different Cook Or They Was Running Late. But, I Will Stick With The Beef Stew & Pepper Steak... Can't Go Wrong! OR CAN YOU?!?!

I'm thinking because the prices of food went up the portions have gotten smaller. The pepper steak is my all time favorite, it's a hit or miss some days, maybe different cooks some days. The pork chops are good also. Oxtails hit or miss also.
The best beef bacon egg and cheese in the world!!! Been coming ever since I was in high school. Been about 20yrs now.

The food isn't as great as pre-pandemic but still flavorful. I was a little bummed they forgot my vegetables via Uber eats in my oxtail platter. The food is fresh and authentic but again it isn't as flavorful as I remember it being two years ago.
