First time ordering from Mama G African Restaurant based on the reviews on Uber Eats and Google, and I must say I was highly disappointed. I spent almost $150 on this order. Everything I ate, except the yam was bland. Their foods are expensive and small portioned. The peppered ponmo, peppered meat and Gizdodo was tough and chewy. They also had no flavor and the rest is history!.I will not order from this place again!.

I ordered first from Uber eats, and the food was good , got ogbonor and ayemase. The ogbono was well seasoned , however the ayamase did not have proteins like other ones I have eaten or made. Their meat pie is also good.I ordered half tray of jollof rice and it was good and well seasoned , tasted just like a jollof rice , their restaurant is specious.

Food was good but their customer service sucks towards American women. They really need to get it together because they will loose business. Those African women need to get it together I came to support and I've sent other American women and they give nothing but attitude!!!!!

They are so stingy with their food and it’s not seasoned well. I ordered on Uber eats and I am highly upset at the 3 pieces of meat for $22. If you want to order go in person!!!

SMDHHHHHH'DAAAAAA, the first time I order from this place and had to call after receiving my food which I ordered stew goat and stew beef... I ordered goat meat and extra meat, they freaking give me one goat meat and three hard azzzzzz beef cubes and it's spicy azz heck. I always eat African food in Brooklyn where I'm from and this place in NJ can't touch the African restaurants in BK.... I'M SOOO DISAPPOINTED ??? ANDDDD WILL NEVAAAAAA EVAAA BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE, NOT EVEN A PIECE OF BREAD... FREAK OUTA HERE AND IT MUST BE AFRICANS THAT'S BIGGING THIS PLACE UP BUT FOR ME, IT'S A ZEROOOOOO..

One of the best African food in jersey! No cap

I ordered from here through Grubhub and it was NOT worth the price. As many others have mentioned, they’re very stingy with the portions. For 20$ worth of egusi soup I received 1 chicken drumstick, 1 small piece of beef, and an inedible fat/cartilage cap that I’m assuming was supposed to be the goat meat I ordered. At that, all of the meat was severely over cooked and dry. The flavor of the soup was pretty good and had a decent spice to it (I personally prefer it hotter though). The cassava fufu was smooth and supple, reminding me of the texture of mashed potatoes. The Nigerian meat pie I ordered came ice cold. Literally ICE COLD. It was like it had just come out the freezer/fridge as it was still even in a ziplock bag.If you’re looking for a good meal, at a reasonable price - I don’t think this is the place. I think you could get more bang for your buck and better food elsewhere.

Good food with home music. You will enjoy it when you visit and make you sure you thanks me later and when you try them. Try follow for more on visited restaurants.Parking: I park on the street and am use to it.

I’m only giving her a 3 star bc she’s a thief. One day the price of food is 17$ or 16$ the next day is 20$. The price changed everyday there. BE AWARE! Overall the food is good but I will not be returning. Money hungry Nigerians
