Super friendly staff, and a very cute little shop! Also they have vegan options! Prices are pretty reasonable. Came to like $5 and small change for 2 generous scoops of the vegan ice cream I got. Indoors is nice and chilly a/c if it's hot out. Please give this adorable little shop a hello!

I was shopping downtown Newark and I came across neighborhood scoops a ice cream place. So I stopped and tried the banana pudding ice cream it was amazing. This is a nice black owned business with a area out front to sit down and eat and a nice area in the back for small parties.Place was nice inside as well . Service was great. Spring just began and being that along with summer my favorite seasons, ice cream is a must for me when the weather is warm. Found this spot not so long ago and walked in for the first time today!I consider customer service a key for any business and felt really comfortable as soon as I walked in.
