I went to Nico's Kitchen and Bar before attending a concert at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. I really liked it. The decor is great. Lots of different seating areas. We stopped by after an event at NJPAC on a Sunday afternoon and had a fantastic experience. The grilled feta with cherry tomatoes and pita bread was absolutely to die for. I had the braised short rib and my partner had the shrimp scampi—both were excellent.
For drinks, I tried the Fig Mule and the Buchanita (both great, though I preferred the mule), while my partner really enjoyed the Spiked Southern Tea. Overall, a wonderful meal and experience—highly recommend!

We stopped in before the Earthquake Comedy Show and ended up having one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time.
