The place to have a typical Portuguese breakfast or an American breakfast before heading to the center of New York City, stop by here to eat breakfast and feel at home (Portugal). My normal spot for pão de água and pão de queijo was closed for vacation so I gave Nova Alianca a shot. It was early afternoon and they didn't have much left so I was only able to buy one of each. They were both pretty good but not as good as my first choice bakery on Ferry Street.
