I didn’t know they use Paramount bread at Town Hall Deli—but now I get why those sandwiches are *so good*Congrats to the Paramount family on an awesome article!PS Love that the author pointed out Paramount is older (and in my opinion, SO MUCH tastier) than other popular NJ bread bakeries LOL

I just purchased the Russian Rye yesterday and tried it today. Amazing. Brings me back to childhood when we had a great bakery up the block. Their rye was amazing but this is very, very close. I used to buy levy's as my substitute but from now on Paramount Bakeries Russian Rye is it. 1000% better. Wow.

Just bought the Russian Rye from Walmart (who knew Walmart sold authentic-tasting rye bread) - it was delicious. We have been looking for old fashion Brooklyn rye from the 60's - 70's for a long time. The only other place is Russ and Daughters in Manhattan. This bread comes very close to the bread baked in the old Jewish bakeries in Sheepshead Bay. Please update your social media so people know where to buy the bread.

Russian rye bread is excellent.please put a little more caraway seeds.but it is the best rye bread in north jersey right now.Whole foods used to sell a better crustier caraway seed bread,but it is discontinued

What happened to your bread?!? It used to be so good and consistent, but now it’s becoming harder and harder not to find only partially risen, hard, or loaves that are much smaller than they used to be. Today picking through tons of loaves at the store there wasn’t a single good one. Please get it together, your bread was the best around for a while, but it’s getting harder to justify spending the extra money on what it’s become.

Love the round Italian I would get at ShopRite in Hammonton NJ. We bought at least two loaves a week. Why is it no longer being sold there? Myself and numerous other customers are very disappointed. I’m giving 5 stars for the excellent bread. If I could give zero for it no longer being offered at the store I would.Where else around zip code 08037 is it sold?

I live in Plant city FL. I went on vacation to Woodbridge NJ, and my family and me stop at a Walmart we saw the bread and I bought 2 loaf of the cuban bread and is the best cuban bread I ever eat, also is taste la the bread con agua from Puerto Rico , I wish they sell this bread in Florida too.

I have been buying your rye, Italian round bread and the others for years with no problem. But this time, I got the Brick Oven Italian Round Bread and it was undercooked, soggy and went moldy in three days! I bought this loaf at the Shop Rite in Clark, NJ

I live in Easton Pa. I stumbled across this Bread City Rye bread (Paramount) that just stopped me in my tracks. I started paying attention as I drove to Phillipsburg , N.J one day at Walmart for a few groceries and picked this up by chance. I will now drive the extra to get this bread as it is that good! ?
