Just read the article about Paramount in the Star Ledger. 100 years, WOW!I’m obsessed with the semolina, ciabatta and Russian Rye. I didn’t know they use Paramount bread at Town Hall Deli—but now I get why those sandwiches are *so good*Congrats to the Paramount family on an awesome article!PS Love that the author pointed out Paramount is older (and in my opinion, SO MUCH tastier) than other popular NJ bread bakeries LOL
I just purchased the Russian Rye yesterday and tried it today. Amazing. Brings me back to childhood when we had a great bakery up the block. Their rye was amazing but this is very, very close. I used to buy levy's as my substitute but from now on Paramount Bakeries Russian Rye is it. 1000% better. Wow.

I live in Easton Pa. I stumbled across this Bread City Rye bread (Paramount) that just stopped me in my tracks. I started paying attention as I drove to Phillipsburg , N.J one day at Walmart for a few groceries and picked this up by chance. I will now drive the extra to get this bread as it is that good! ?
