I’ve been ordering from picnic from the day they opened. Today will be my last. They charged me 58$ for three chickens and rice no fries I had to call back and pay for fries. Never again!

I've tried all the other ribs and chicken restaurants in ironbound newark only to be disappointed with all of them. Most restaurants in newark are gouging customers however this place was a breath of fresh air. Excellent ribs that were very tasty and was given 7 ribs. Typically the order comes with fries and rice making it not such a healthy meal but this place gives you a choice of many different sides including collard greens and mixed veggies making it a very healthy meal. This is the only place I know here that has multiple side choices. The price was reasonable, not a gouging price, so you get value for your money spent! I highly recommend this place. Give it a shot you won't be sorry. Jonas and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Had the 1/2 rack of ribs, which was really filling. Got a side of steamed vegetables and beans. The vegetables felt like a clean eat, but were overcooked and had no seasoning. The beans were fine as well. Pretty good amount of food

This place takes forever to delivery your food, Never order thru door dash or grubhub, they will place your order at the end. They dont have driver and use their own so have fun waiting 1hr+ plus for your food, This wait is not worth the money because you can be starving and they would care less. Worse delivery experience till this day

There's a lot of great Portuguese BBQ in the area but this is definitely one of the best places.
Staff has absolutely no idea what they are doing, no one speaks English. Took so long to make and order for them to tell me they don’t make it anymore.
