Ordered on GrubHub, the falafels didn’t taste well and the hummus was watery

sitting, thankful i chose pita square for lunch. i was craving something to make me feel fulfilled, not full. balanced and fresh. i chose to be picky today and it went in my best favor. we’ll get into the food, but let’s start off with the atmosphere. pita square is fresh, clean, and airy. which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal in peace. colorful with subtle decor, clean bathrooms, great customer service, and an affordable menu. i got the $7.99 lamb platter: well seasoned lamb, rice, and colorful salad, drizzled with white and hot sauce. everything is very fresh. the best of all, perfect portion to eat some and pack for later. giving them their 10s, stop by and give it a try. i’m glad i did. i feel great after eating.

The beautiful lady there is amazing. She makes the best food she’s God’s Gift to us!!

Website and menu advertises 10% off online order not it off not discounted at checkout. Lady at front counter said she couldn't discount the order so it's false advertising. She also got my order wrong and had to remake it. The lamb is super oily and dry be careful ordering this dish.

I was looking for something halal but the worst food experience ever have from there. Ordered two sandwiches, Huge size of bun with full of lattuce and salad but had to use magnifier to found any kabob or falafel. Does that make any sense? No sauce and sooooo bad taste just like raw food. Waste of money, had to order something again from another place.

Sooooo much better than halal boys (which gave me food poisoning the only time I went there, lol). I recommend this place a thousand times over. The wraps are incredible and they don’t skimp on the portions of meat. The lamb is fantastic, as are all of the salads.

By far this is the best halal food I've ever had. You can tell that the food is freshly made each day unlike other halal spots. The value is great for a platter for all the food you'll get (rice, chicken, lamb & 2 sides).

Staff is friendly and helpful for any questions you may have.

Definitely one of my go-to spots to get some good eats whenever I'm in the area. You'll leave happy and belly bursting full.

I got the falafel bowl. The falafel were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside, the hummus was creamy, they even had zatar to sprinkle on top. I got it with taboulleh on the side with salad base but there were other options. My friend got a falafel sandwich. The server was nice. It is in downtown newark and pretty good spots to eat nearby. Close to NJIT. Parking might be tough depending on the time & day but there are many streets for street parking if you don’t mind a stroll.
