Steak was rare instead of medium. I sent it back and then it came back medium rare. Also one of the people I came with asked for well done it was medium. Floors are slippery all throughout so Becareful. Garlic shrimp was very good, and so was the calamari.

Water wasn’t served and we didn’t get it til the end after I asked. We had steaks and I had to ask for steak knives halfway through eating the steak. No one cared to stop and ask how things are going. Steak felt cold and not flavorful. Waited 45 min ti they offered dessert. My girl was happy but I was not and it’s Valentine’s Day.

A cozy spot in downtown Newark, couldn't ask for more! As someone who does not know Portuguese cuisine I was so happy to try and and throughly enjoyed it. The decor is also super intriguing and made me feel like I was both at home and somewhere I've never been.
