They are definitely overpriced now. Unfortunately I just paid $15 for a whiting fish sandwich. The sandwich comes with 4 pieces and 2 slices of bread but I just bought a whole bag of fresh whiting to take home for $10! 1 of the 4 pieces was a frozen piece of fish and another piece was extremely small. Nothing about the sandwich was worth $15, it's not even seasoned well. They lost me as a regular customer on my Jersey trips.
Ordered by accident via Uber Eats, not realizing they were in Newark (the driver was so mad, lol) but glad I did. I got the combo special two and cornbread. It was soooo good and that cornbread! Omg. They really need a Jersey City location.
