Solid place to eat some delicious Soulfood… my favorite is the oxtail over rice with macaroni and cheese and potato salad. Second favorite would be the grilled salmon(comes with a sauce on top) with yellow rice and macaroni and cheese. My third favorite are the chicken wings(6 pieces of whole wings) perfectly fried with macaroni and cheese and cabbage. Not many businesses like this around. They do not serve pork. I’ve tried the catfish, whiting, and beef short ribs. All delicious.
The first time I ordered food it's was the amount was well. I ordered turkey wings one time oh my God . They were horrible dry old an taste like somebody put some wax in it. I was really surprise. And they are not . giving you the same amount now.the plates are lighter definitely. Before it's would take me two days to eat the food.not now. An for some reason they aren't on Uber eats. Or the other apps any more
This is it!!! Today was my first time buying from them and I’m saying officially it is my new favorite place to eat anytime I’m in Newark and want some REAL soul food! Plus customer service was very great also.
