I have eaten here many times over the years and have never left disappointed. This time I brought two people that are from out of state for a work dinner and they were so impressed. Highly recommend.
I've been to the restaurant before and had a better experience. The food was average at best. The branzino was dry and the potatoes and spinach had no taste. The steak was just okay, nothing to brag about. The experience of being in a Spanish restaurant is lacking. It can't compare to some of the other Spanish in Portuguese restaurants in Newark. I don't think we'll be going back on the bright side. The servers were lovely and the service was great.
I was happy with the service and the food. However , we were 5 adults and 3 children and the bill was $8oo. We did not consume a lot of liquor. The appetizers and entrees were delicious but the prices were way too high;. For the family to go out to enjoy a good meal is becomes impossible to do with those prices.
