In spite of Google search failing to list TMWard under “coffee”, I found them by word of mouth while working in Newark for the day. What an amazing coffee shop! Lots of bean, blends and great fresh coffee to choose from. One of the owners let me pick the bean for my cortado yesterday! The young Ward was working with his team and took time to greet all the local folks filling the shop at 9:30a. There are over 20 varieties of brewed coffee to choose from everyday. Google did not list this historic expert gem of a coffee house when I tried to search “coffee” and as a dedicated Google user and level 6 guide I’m reporting the gap to help make this right and list TMWard.

I ordered a 1 pound bag of “filled” hard candy, for $8.99, order#34709. I opened the bag and it was a 1 pound bag of “non filled” candy.. I also just realized that I was charged $31.09 for this 1 pound of candy that was $8.99, WHAT IN THE World WAS THE ADDITIONAL $22.10 charge. If I am told it was for shipping then I have truly been RIPPED OFF. Buyer beware, this company is a scam!

Not only is the coffee here fantastic, but the food is surprisingly great too. I ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich, and both were delicious. The sandwich was fresh, warm, and filling — way better than what you’d expect from a coffee shop. The latte was smooth and creamy, exactly how I like it. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience easy. The shop has a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out. The décor is stylish without trying too hard. Prices are fair, especially given the portion sizes. Everything tasted fresh, which makes a big difference. It’s rare to find a coffee shop that nails both drinks and food. I’ll definitely be back for breakfast again soon.

Bad customer service. I bought a DDS Frog espresso coffee machine for $400 November 2023 from a Steve from this company. After 10 months the water pump broke. Took several calls to finally get a new pump which cost $65 to get delivered. 8 months later this new pump broke. We use this machine to make no more than 3 -4 cups a day. It is not abused. Been trying to call. Finally got Steve on phone and he would look into this matter. It's been almost a month and he has not gotten back to me. I'm out of $465, no machine, no answers. Be careful when buying from this company and I'm going to put a complaint with BBB!

I like coffee.
My wife says I'm a coffee snob. I've been a customer of TM Ward for about 7 years and I am very very happy with the product. They have a lot of varieties, great prices and great coffee. I am always changing up and its rare that I don't like the coffee. There Kona Blend (which has 0% Kona) is currently my favorite its smooth, tasty with a great aroma. Better than actual Kona. They roast to your liking and since I'm not a dark roast fan the coffees are exactly as I like it. I grind all my coffee (even drip coffee) and what a difference that makes. For espresso I get the Portuguese Blend and it tastes like I'm having a coffee in Portugal. You can't go wrong with TM Ward.
