I don't really remember what I had. I guess the food wasn't great but it wasn't bad. The place was clean but not very remarkable. I guess it didn't make an impression on me. I don't think I'll go back again.

I recently moved to the Ironbound and needed to find myself a pizza place. Luckily, this place is only a few blocks from my apartment. It's not very big and doesn't seem to be popular for eat-in dining, but it is always busy with people getting take out. The pizza itself has rather thin crust and the sauce is great. I love their margherita pizza. If you eat there, be prepared to pay for drinks even if you get water. They only have bottled. The only down side is that because it's a small place and busy the service can be slow. Order in advance and then you can pick it up or have it delivered when you're ready to eat. This place holds a special place in my heart. This was the "go to" lunch spot for me and my late brother on Saturdays. Food is good authentic Portuguese cuisine like mom made. Not the fanciest or cutting edge fusion but delicious nonetheless. You feel like family here. As long as they are in business I will come here.
