I recently had the pleasure of ordering authentic ecuadorian food at Vinny's Pizzeria. A locally owned restaurant near the Newark-Penn Station in Newark. Once I walked in, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Came here for a birthday and they were fabulous. The service was great- accommodating and welcoming.We shared the calamari which was delicious. I really liked the broth that it was in. I tried a bite of the burrata appetizer. YUM!!!!! That burrata was amazing!!!! For my entree, I had the spaghetti nero and clams. The noodles are made with squid ink so it is black.
