We wanted very much to have a great experience here. We’ve been looking forward to eating here for a while. We were eating in a party of 8. We arrived a few minutes late. We ordered New England clam chowder, crab imperial and crabs and linguine. The food was good, but the linguine was cold when it arrived. There were 5 tables with diners and two waiters, so it didn’t seem very crowded. Our entrees came out at different times, so our group was trying not to be rude and eat...
Wanted to come down to the Bull on the barn for dinner but after several calls with no answer. We took a ride. There was never any mention that they were closed for the season. I think that someone should maintain the website and notify people when they are opened or closed.
This place is just beautiful! The atmosphere, the location, and the decorations are just amazing! However the food is subpar, clams casino were dry and small, crab cake(yes one) was very fishy(yes I know it’s crab but it shouldn’t taste like that) portion size did not match the price. I’m local and there’s not much game in town, I love eating by the bay like that, but the first time I went I felt the same way about the place that’s why it took me three years to get back...
