“Such a great little place with legitimately good quality beer! I've been to plenty of small town breweries all over the country and more often than I'd like to admit, the beer can be very home-brewy. This place is putting out high quality craft beer, and it's pretty clear they have some talent running the brew house!

I really dug their doppelbock, their Belgian ale, the high gravity porter....it really was all fantastic! The place itself is also a ton of fun. Such great staff behind the counter, and even the locals at the bar were super fun to hang out with!

Pro Tip: Don't forget, they have cans of beer to-go so you should definitely take some home with you!”

“We had a 50 person party yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet they put out for us and I have to give a HUGE shout out to Matt (I’m pretty sure that was his name. Big smile and his hair in a bun). He was the wait staff taking care of all of us and he killed it! Super pleasant and he worked his butt off to serve us all. If you get Matt, take good care of him!!!!”

“Food is great - wide selection of bagels/sandwiches, pastries and drinks. Only pain point is that they are severely understaffed. They should really think about expanding into a larger facility with additional team members. Even when you call ahead, they'll put you on hold without giving you a chance to say one word. It's wonderful that they're this busy but its starting to negatively impact their loyal customers. 🙁”

“On Friday, I came across an article that this was voted number one in Sussex County New Jersey. I was intrigued. I love Pizza so much; unfortunately, for many years I had no desire going out for pizza because everywhere I went It was terrible. I’m born and raised in Milford, PA in Pike county. I fell in love with L&B’s in Brooklyn; but it’s been 17 years since I’ve been there last. Friday night I ordered the presto pizza two slices of it, and I fell in love after the first bite. The waitress and I’m sorry I forgot her name asked me what I thought and I loved it. It was incredible. My mission now is to try every pizza on the menu. That’s my goal finishing out 2025 into 2026 thank you thank you thank you. You have gained new customers, my husband and I. 💚🤍❤️”

“I was looking for a place to hold a small(er) afternoon party for about 60 friends & family members, and McQ’s came highly recommended for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and top notch service. They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.”

“Grabbed both breakfast (BEC PK) on a roll and then lunch (Sausage, Peppers and Onions) today, both were great. The breakfast sandwich was layered perfectly between the meat, 3 eggs and cheese that it came with. It wasn’t greasy and it also wasn’t falling apart when you were eating it. The Sausage, Peppers and Onions sub came on some really fresh bread, had a ton of flavoring and again, not greasy. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area and want to try something delicious on the go.”

We get take-out sandwiches (breakfast and lunch primarily) fairly regularly from G&S.

I've only been disappointed once by a slightly stale sub roll, 99.9% of our sandwiches have been perfect, so the one roll was just a fluke.

We are ALWAYS satisfied by their terrific comfort food. I highly recommend G&S!”

“Very comfortable local watering hole bar. Came here to see Edgeways and Larks Tongue for Prog Night and this is a great place for local live music, as they have a nice outdoor stage as well as a comfortable but narrow indoor area for bands. Drinks were fairly priced and the waitress running the bar was very nice and friendly even with loud music going on. Really easy to step out and come back in to smoke if desired. Would happily come here again.

Just to note if this is your first time here - they don’t have food ! You have to go get food and bring it back or have it delivered but I had no issue bringing in Chinese Food from nearby.

“Five Guys in Newton just nailed it! I got the bacon burger and a milkshake, and both were incredible. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and the toppings were super fresh. You can customize it exactly how you want, which is awesome. And the milkshake? Thick, creamy, and the perfect sweetness. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Seriously, if you're craving a classic, delicious burger and shake, this Five Guys is the place to go.”

“Come back to stillwater area every December to visit family. Since taylor ham egg and cheese is not available in montana and they've never heard of a hard roll i tend to eat one 3 times a week while I'm here and fredon deli has the best in the county. The rest of the food is pretty darn good also.”

“Boomers is a very small, intimate bar where everyone knows everyone. Mostly Blue collar crowd throwing back after a hard day. Surprisingly level and well kept 6' pool table, although there is a short 3' stick required for some close walls and people) and competitive players.

Reasonably priced beer and shot joint, they have bar food also. I'd give it 5 stars for a dirty old biker like me, but it's usually a crowd of older guys during the day getting buzzed and shooting the breeze. Very nice lady behind the bar. Occasionally packed with a broad variety of ages and gender.

They even have a good sized smokers deck on the back, and ample parking. Good stop for bikers swinging through (but it's Stillwater and the local police are vigilant ball busters about the 25mph speed limit through town especially if you have loud pipes)

PS:. They have take out package goods as well (beer anyway, maybe more)

“Visited this restaurant with our friends, Eddie & Kathie, who live in the area and we had a marvelous time. Cocktails, wine, main meals and dessert were great as was the ambiance and the hospitality of Dina, who we met, her sister and the entire staff. We live about 50 minutes away but we will make it a point to return in the not so distant future.”

“The prepared food is so good! We had the TLT and it was so fresh and delicious. And we really appreciated the kind counter staff who were quick with their smiles and made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the big range of vegan goodies and scooped up quite a few treats to enjoy! Also, their coffee was so good and they had a wide selection of nondairy milks and creamers. Great spot to stock up on a picnic before going hiking!”
