Was there on a recent Sunday afternoon with fam from out of town. We wanted a quiet place with good food, not too expensive. AG's came through, as always. Not very busy at 2 PM on a Sunday. The atmosphere is that of a bar/pizza place- neat, clean, but nothing special. One was a New Yorker, and he ordered a Sicilian Pizza, and said it was very good! I had a special of the day Pasta dish, advertised as spicy, and it was. One had a stromboli, and couldn't believe the size...
After eating at A&G every day for the past month (thanks to a kitchen packed away in preparation for a move to Europe), I can say unequivocally that this local spot has become my go-to for daily meals. The food is excellent, the portions generous, and the pricing absolutely incredible for the value you get. Our table had pasta, sandwiches, appetizers, and a calzone. Everything came out quickly and was hot. Great food, a nice atmosphere (the NFL channel was on, so people could watch a game), and friendly servers.
