We had gone to the Spring Diner a while back so we decided to try it again. Mind you, it was great the first time but this time it was BETTER. The portions were large, price wise very reasonable, service fantastic! Can't wait to go back and try some more great food! The restaurant may be small but their portions make up for it. If you blink your eyes, you will pass it but I am telling you DO NOT PASS IT UP!
I was a bit apprehensive when I first walked into the diner. It’s kind of small and there were only 2 other families in there. I figured I would give it a try and I was not disappointed. My friend was here from NC and all she wanted was some good disco fries. The disco fries were so good that she wants to go back tomorrow. Spring Diner is a quaint little place that looks like a typical New Jersey diner, with a mobile home-like appearance. The food is good, served quickly, and the staff is attentive. The restaurant offers a traditional Eggs Benedict with a tangy Hollandaise sauce and perfectly cooked soft-poached eggs, which is praised as one of the best. The French toast is also a highlight, with wonderful flavor that brings a smile to the customer's face. The home fries are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff make customers feel at home. Although the place is small, it is a humble and welcoming establishment. The place is very cute and welcoming. Staff was friendly and made you feel like you were at home. Food was fast and good. Pancakes are bomb, I highly recommend. Mexican chicken tacos were traditionally prepared and DELISH! Pastrami rueben was fabulous!
