“Omg this place is AMAZING! Definitely a new North Arlington favorite! The gentleman that makes everything are so friendly. They also accommodate you if you want to switch something for your dish. This is the second time I've been here and had the linguine garlic pasta ( they make it homemade too). The first time I only had it with shrimp. The second time I added grilled chicken and shrimp. I am obsessed!

Great atmosphere, owners, and service. Every time I come back I want to try something different but I stick with the pasta. It's my favorite!

I had the gluten free calamari and that was fantastic as well. The breading was seasoned well and it wasn't rubbery. That a must to try as well!.

My boyfriend had the grilled chicken, rice, and broccoli and everything was seasoned wonderful.

They even took our group earlier than our reservation which was much appreciated as we were all from out of town and heading home immediately following lunch. Roasted potatoes, chicken francese, eggplant parm and sausage with peppers all got rave reviews.”

“The owner Al and his wife are an amazing power duo that this town definitely needed. He's an amazing chef with a fantastic background and loves treating people to his amazing dishes. The vibe is very quaint and comfortable with lots of room to move around and check out the pastries he also makes homemade in-house. Definitely best bagel/deli around the area so far and deserves way more exposure!

Parking: Mini plaza parking lot, roughly 15-20 car spaces with 2 in the center next to the sidewalk. Around the block is free street parking.”

“Been wanting to write a review for a while now. Been eating at this place on and off for 5-6 years, probably the best sushi place in bergen county. Its authentic and not one of those gimmicky sushi places.”

“So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!”

“My husband and I stopped in on our way to an event in the area based on reviews. It's a very small place with no indoor seating. However the service was friendly and quick and the chicken bao was very good. If we are ever back in the area, I would try more items from their menu.”

“I absolutely love ordering from here! I’ve been eating here since I was in high school and since introducing it to my fiancée, it’s been both our favorite spot to order from. The fried dumplings are always so tasty and satisfying. I also enjoy the sesame chicken and my fiancée loves the shrimp lo mein combo, both never disappoints. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and you can really tell they take pride in their family owned business and it shows. The recent renovations really enhance the cozy, homey atmosphere—it looks fantastic. Our friends and family all adore this place too. Can’t wait to order from here again!”

“It is exactly what it's supposed to be, a deli with chips and candy. I never ordered any sandwiches or hot food. I just go in to grab something real quick. The service is polite and the selection is quite great. For like 2.5 decades I always intend on going to try something hot, but I'm always just in a hurry to grab a drink, chips or breath mints. ?”

“I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Maguey a couple of times now and I can now say without a doubt that this place is now in my go-to list for places to eat in the Kearny area. I had the calamari every time I’ve gone and I believe it may be one of the best I’ve had. The calamari is fresh, fried perfectly, and the accompanying sauce is rich and flavorful. You can’t go wrong with any of the food on the menu as it’s all delicious. It might just be my personal taste, but I would prefer if they used maybe a pinch of salt more than they normally do. That is not to say these dishes are not spiced wonderfully, they definitely are. I just like salt. I hope more people stop into this restaurant and support the local business.”

“I was a early to pick up a friend in the area and as I drove by this corner unassuming yet gorgeous and clean little bakery, I decided to stop to get a latte and see what they offered for breakfast. Owner created me graciously and I ordered a ham egg and cheese sandwich on a Portuguese roll that was delicious. As I’m eating I noticed several people coming in to but their home made Pastel di Natal ( showed in my pictures) and I had to try it! It was so fresh and amazing that I ordered 10 to go! OMG you guys have to stop by and try them ?. I will definitely come back to try other things, everything looks fresh and delicious. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me so yesss; I recommend this place!”

“I just wanted to clarify myself to the worker in that restaurant especially the one in the front. We went at the restaurant today around 2pm. We went inside the restaurant and did not talk right away to let them know we were 2 customers, instead I stopped for a second and checked if we went to the right door. The worker in the front thought that we went in there to look for a guy and be with guy and do something. I just wanted to let that worker in the front know that we went there to eat and not to look for a guy. When we finished eating, that worker in the front got replaced with a young guy. I just don’t want the worker in there to think that we went there to look for a guy. We love to go to the church. Now a days, it is very important to do the right thing. We have a song in the church “choose the right.” Don’t judge the people by just physical appearance.
But other than that, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.”
