This place is truly a hidden gem. Get their pupusa mixta and chicken tamale — you won’t be disappointed. Also get ready to order in Spanish because they don’t speak English. I used google translator and it was fine. Very nice people who work here.
You'll find all your dining wishes granted here. Staff provided attention that enhanced our meal. The dish showed understanding of complementary flavors. We experienced perfection starting at the entrance. All the positive descriptions of El Maizalito Salvadoreño are warranted - it's outstanding.
Very cozy and authentic place. The people were nice and welcoming. We ordered grilled steak and grilled chicken breast, which came with plantains and salads. The food was fresh and delicious.
