I got fried calamari that was okay. The pina colada is more than excellent. Someone else order empanadas it was truly delicious. There are valet parking, which is a plus and the crew are all very good people
This place was originally The Bootleg Notches which I actually liked since the hours were better and the prices were cheaper. The last time I went, though, I noticed the prices had gone through the roof, and the waitstaff honestly wasn’t great.
It’s also kind of crazy that they don’t have draft beer, but that’s not a huge deal. The iPads were a nice touch, although I personally prefer actual menus.

Rancho Mateo is a good place. The food is good. The only thing I don’t like is the music is so loud you can’t hear the people in your table. I have to order to go.
