This place is an absolute disaster .Even the tables Polyurethane is bubbling up and coming off.The bar if you can call it a bar has very few liquors and only four choices of bottled beer.Myself and my mother stayed at the hotel and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I've tracked all over the world .It should be shutdown and remodeled .The restaurant is a disaster and the carpet in the halls is very worn and in need of replacing .

I had vegetable noodles, which was ok, only because I was starving. The mash was not pleasant. The chips and fish cakes were good but the tamarind ketchup was awful. No alternative condiments provided.The service was slow, tables were left dirty/ previous customers plates, and trying get the bill was a challenge. I thought it was cheeky when they added gratitude (service charge). A bit pricey once taxes and this gratitude are added.The menu we got was mainly meat based. Limited vegetarian food.Vegetarian options: Needs to be more veggie option. Meat substitute or plants based products should now be thought about

It is located in the Wyndham Garden Hotel lobby...there's a sign that has their name anyway..tried to order but, you cannot order on their website, you cannot order thru grubhub or Uber eats, an cannot order over the phne, it goes right to a full mailbox ?!?!
After a horrific day at the airport We were transplanted to The Wyndam Garden Hotelwhere we were " revived "by the over whelmed yet attentive and friendly waitstaff at The Gaur/La Parrillas Bar! We started with fresh guacamole and plantain chips, then the Mixed meat Chaufa !!! For a restaurant full of patrons hangry and paying with airline food vouchers" the waitstaff maintained professional service in spite of being "in the weeds"The meal was prepared authentically, plated to impress, and seasoned deliciously.We quenched our travel stress with "old fashioned" style Margaritas perfectly crafted by the charismatic and entertaining bartender "John" !Please note, we ended up at this restaurant/bar by accident but ended up being truly grateful for a enjoyable and flavor-able meal!Even if you aren't staying at the Wyndam Gardens, treat yourself to a Latin dinner and drink at The Gaur/Parrillas Bar!

This is attached to Wyndham Garden North Bergen hotel (about a 20 minute shuttle from EWR). Goods: they take airline vouchers and have a decent menu. Others: there was 1 staff member for the bar and the tables, and his english was horrible resulting in bringing the wrong dinner order and not being able to communicate what went wrong or how to fix it. But the food was good.

Grilled chicken with plantains and salad. Very tasty! The plantains were thin, slightly sweet, crispy, and a tiny bit of salt on them made them delicious. I wanted more! Ton of grilled chicken in my meal. There were about 3 good-sized, very tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned chicken breasts that I thoroughly enjoyed. There was so much I had enough for another meal the next day! Happy to see a decent amount of cucumbers in my salad, but disappointed there were cut in half. So were the tomatoes. My husband had a beer and as you can see by the receipt tip, credit card charge and tax added up quickly. We were both happy and this is typical for hotel restaurants. I would definitely come back for the food if all the extraneous charges weren't added.
