After a horrific day at the airport We were transplanted to The Wyndam Garden Hotelwhere we were " revived "by the over whelmed yet attentive and friendly waitstaff at The Gaur/La Parrillas Bar! We started with fresh guacamole and plantain chips, then the Mixed meat Chaufa !!! This is attached to Wyndham Garden North Bergen hotel (about a 20 minute shuttle from EWR). Goods: they take airline vouchers and have a decent menu. Others: there was 1 staff member for the bar and the tables, and his english was horrible resulting in bringing the wrong dinner order and not being able to communicate what went wrong or how to fix it. But the food was good.

Grilled chicken with plantains and salad. Very tasty! The plantains were thin, slightly sweet, crispy, and a tiny bit of salt on them made them delicious. I wanted more! Ton of grilled chicken in my meal. There were about 3 good-sized, very tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned chicken breasts that I thoroughly enjoyed.
