This is attached to Wyndham Garden North Bergen hotel (about a 20 minute shuttle from EWR). Goods: they take airline vouchers and have a decent menu. Others: there was 1 staff member for the bar and the tables, and his english was horrible resulting in bringing the wrong dinner order and not being able to communicate what went wrong or how to fix it. But the food was good.
The entrance to the restaurant/bar is in the hotel lobby. We received a friendly welcome. We were given a small menu. We opted for penne with a tomato sauce. It was very tasty and sufficient. An error in the billing was immediately corrected to our satisfaction. We can recommend it.
I have to say, I was quite pleasantly surprised at the level of the quality of food here. We’ve been staying at the Wyndham and coming to get food here and there, and the Cesar salad is quite simply the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had the Cesar at some of the best restaurants and they don’t compare . Actually everything outside of the chicken quesadilla and meat Empanadas have been pretty good. They do need a better selection of wines to go with the penne pasta and Cesar...
