I believe the manager was the one who took my order. I was with my daughter, placing our food order, when I overheard the manager raising his voice at two of the girls, telling them to be quiet. It caught me off guard because they seemed to be doing their job well. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable to have the person taking my order interrupt me to reprimand the girls, especially when they're doing their job. It affected my decision and made me lose track of what I was going to order. Won’t be coming back. Hire new management!

This is place is simple. It they know what they are doing. Clean place; happy staff and lots of easy to pick up options. You are in and out and have many fresh options to choose from. I think price wise is great too. I picked something that was ready since I was in a hurry. The volcano sushi was delicious and fresh.

Went to Sarku Japan after about 6-7 years. The whole experience has deteriorated quite a lot.The signature dish, chicken teriyaki was very dry and rice did not have any teriyaki sauce. The chicken pieces were ok.The California roll was very dry and quite small.The chicken bento box was not great. Therice was very dry. The bento box did not carry the shrimp tempura, which I remembered from earlier.The restroom was unclean and did not have tissues. The tables were probably not clean as it felt sticky. This is for the Sarku at the Shoppes at North Brunswick.

I ordered the beef teriyaki meal with vegetables and white rice. I would have enjoyed it, however, the portions were small. There was barely any beef in my meal, so the price I paid for the meal was not worth it.

Great spot to get lunch. Way better than all Sarku mall locations. I repeat ALL MALL LOCATIONS.
Tried the Sushi Spicy Tuna the Chicken Teriyaki Roll and the Bento Box. The whole thing tasted old and tasteless. Very disappointed because it’s supposed to be known for Sushi and Teriyaki. Spent 50$ what a total waste so upset didnt even take pics threw the whole thing out! Would not even give a star if I could.

Horrible Had delivered so no one to complain to. Had to throw away eggroll was so burnt Both rolls Spicy Crab and Tempura Shrimp were premade and refrigerated and tasted like were days old and the worst rolls I've ever ate

Chicken Bento box, came out to $16 and change w/ two drinks. About $5 worth of food. Did not look like other yelpers photos. Only about 5 tiny pcs of chicken. Maybe I went on a bad day? Nobody else in there so it's not like they were distracted...What a joke, save your money.
