“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~“

“The sandwiches such as the chopped cheese, lamb cheesesteak, and gyro was good. The tostones need seasoning with pink sauce, curly was well seasoning and delicious. The turkey bacon double cheeseburger was good. The pizza roll is terrible it is crap wrapped in egg roll shell. I rather get some real pizza rolls in a pizzeria than eating that garbage again. The service was okay however, when I tell the Muslim brother that rum raisin ice cream is haram because of the rum he acted all nonchalant about it. This is a halal restaurant no alcohol in all forms should not be allowed. Astaghfirullah to brother. The atmosphere was small people coming in and out there is no room to dine and enjoy the food so I glad I ordered to go.“

The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“My husband and I went in this afternoon for the first time. We ordered the southwest egg rolls, a gyro for my husband, and a chopped cheese for myself. The southwest egg rolls were pretty solid. The only thing I would suggest is that they’re not placed on lettuce as they were. The lettuce made the bottoms soggy. Otherwise they were really good and the dipping sauce was delicious. My husband did ask for no onions on his gyro, but got onions. That aside the gyro was fantastic. The fried were super crispy thanks to vented plastic to-go containers that should honestly be mandatory. We are looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!“

I stopped by the new Wing Stop in Yonkers while I was in the area and wanted something quick to eat. The place is definitely new and has a clean, fresh feel to it. The staff was pleasant and took my order right away, and to my surprise it was ready within just a few minutes.

I ordered a classic wing combo with the mango habanero sauce, which came with fries and a soda. The food was hot, fresh. the wings had a great kick and the fries were crisp. There are a few seats off to the side if you want to dine in, which is convenient.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Fast service, good food, and friendly staff I’d definitely stop by again.“

“I almost never write reviews, but I felt compelled to after meeting James, the new owner of this Korean fried chicken spot. James is a sweet older gentleman who genuinely asked me for feedback. You can tell he truly cares about the food and his customers who order from the store.

The crispy boneless chicken is my go-to with the sweet and spicy and soy chili garlic sauces, which are both full of flavor and go really well with the pickled radish.

It’s also super convenient.. place your order, do your grocery shopping, and by the time you’re done, your chicken is hot and ready to go. It’s become an easy and reliable part of my routine.

I’ve also ordered for Super Bowl Sunday and casual takeout nights and it never misses.

One quick note about the person taking your order at the counter.. they aren’t an employee of the business. They work for the supermarket and take orders for other food vendors inside. So if the service at the counter ever feels rushed or off, don’t let it reflect on this business. The owner and the food absolutely speak for themselves.

“I can't say enough great things about Defiant! Last week we hosted a small wedding reception and it was perfect. We were able to do anything we wanted with the space we had (we didn't rent the entire place, just a few tables). The food was great, as usual! The beers and other drinks were great and the price was so reasonable! We were able to use all the games at the brewery, and we were even able to play Terminator 2 on the projector which was a major bonus. The staff was truly wonderful which made everything even better.
