This is the best and most authentic sushi restaurant in the Bergen county area. The staff and chefs are Japanese so you know it's authentic. The menu changes daily with seasonal offerings of high quality fish. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Always fresh and nice. Pretty authentic
Food is great. Space is small and can get crowded during peak hours. Pricey but definitely on of the top sushi places in Bergen County. We always go back.

Based on the reviews, OKINAMI SUSHI BAR in Norwood, NJ, serves some of the best sushi in Bergen. The sushi lunch set is fantastic, including sushi, a tuna roll, miso soup, salad, edamame, and tempura for just $26, offering great value. The sushi and sashimi set and salmon tataki are also excellent. The sushi is incredibly fresh, high quality, and goes down like butter. The Chirashi and the two rolls were perfect and massive. The staff and sushi chefs are phenomenal, genuinely some of the nicest, most welcoming people. The ambiance is relaxed, with a tight, cozy atmosphere. Chef Tim mastered his technique at Nobu and Sushi Noz. This place is better than most places in the city. They do not take reservations, so come early as seats are limited. The price is on the high side, but you get what you pay for.
