Okinami Sushi offers food that is clean, precise, well-priced and quietly excellent, with none of the excess that has overtaken so many spots. The servers are helpful and kind, and excitedly greet each customer like the Cheer’s bar did for Norm. You leave pleasantly delighted — already calculating when you can reasonably return. WOW!! I had such a great time at Okinami- the staff is so THRILLED TO SAY HELLO AND GOODBYE!, they make everyone feel so welcome. The Sushi was fresh and delicious, the fountain soda was crispy and the music was GREAT! Special shoutout to David for being so wonderful! Can’t wait to come back soon. ARIGATO!
Incredible restaurant with great service, exceptional fish quality, and generous portions. I had given up on finding good sushi in NJ and felt that overpaying for sushi in the city was the only way to get anything decent quality but after coming here I see no reason to anywhere else. Having worked at Japanese restaurants and gone to Japan many times this place is the real deal. I would gladly drive 30+ minutes to come here again and if you're in the area this is a must go...
