Big fan of this place me and my wife often go here and always enjoy what we get. Great spot for a fair priced local coffee, cold brew is what I get personally it’s strong, but I like it. They also have house made syrups with great flavors like French Toast. If you’re local definitely stop in.

it’s so hard to find places with REAL food. everything nowadays is like frozen and warmed or premade but this place makes it fresh! it felt like i cooked it at home in my own kitchen and i love that so much!! it was also delicious. i stumbled across this place on accident in a rush to work and im so glad i did. the girls are so cute & friendly too i love a community driven place so much 10/10 will be back

BEST COFFEE SHOP IN NUTLEY!! The vibe is very cool and artsy, the food and coffee is SO tasty and the staff are always so friendly. My peppermint mocha was amazing and this is my go to spot whenever I have time in between meetings. 10/10 every time

I debated whether to write this, but after what transpired, I don’t believe staying silent is appropriate.
I left a one-star review based on my personal experience at this coffee shop. In response, the owner chose to publicly post my full name on the business’s social media, encouraging ridicule and mockery from followers. I did not consent to having my name used for content or “clout,” and I would not have even known about these posts had multiple people not sent them to me.
To clarify why I left the one-star review: From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, and the interaction at the counter was cold and uninviting. I ordered an iced coffee, took a sip, and genuinely could not drink it—I threw it out. That was my experience, and reviews exist for that exact reason.
Rather than addressing feedback professionally, the owner chose to screenshot my review history, misrepresent it publicly, and create a false narrative suggesting that I target local businesses with negative reviews. That is simply untrue.
What is most troubling is the decision to escalate this situation repeatedly—multiple posts, sarcasm, and victim-playing—while continuing to publicly single me out by name. That behavior is unprofessional and inappropriate for any business owner, especially one who publicly promotes messages of kindness and anti-bullying.
This is a local business in the town I live in. I never intended for this to become public drama, but once my name was put on blast, I felt compelled to respond. I stand by my experience, and I stand by my right to share it without being harassed.

The staff was wonderful and the coffee was really delicious. The furniture was so uncomfortable and not for staying there to hang out. The furniture was so hard, the seats were small, and some seats didn't have backs on them. I would come back for takeout but don't think I would ever stay there again. The cookie I got was also really delicious.

I understand making drinks in order, but I don't understand why four to five mixed espresso drinks had to get made and given out before my drip coffee was made. It's from a thermos and takes almost no time to create. It seems like an unnecessary policy to have at a cafe.
