I had been meaning to go for about a year. A friend and I finally went last night. The waitress was awesome! We ordered an appetizer: bruschetta. We shared a pizza...it was absolutely delish! I heartily recommend this place.Vegetarian options: We had a specialty vegetarian pizza. It had spinach, artichokes, garlic and lemon zest.

Emilios is a small, family run, neighborhood pizza spot. The food is fantastic, service friendly, and the owner Ralph is a great guy as well. The staff is not classically trained, neither are the chefs, which is what makes this place even more impressive as the food is always tasty. I have been to Emilios a bunch of times and will keep returning. Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Side note-as stated, it is very small so if you want a table, especially on the weekend, make a reservation, so you don't show up to a full restaurant and post a one-star review.

“ We”from restaurants review stopped by over the weekend for the first time and was denied indoor seating and the host was nice enough for proposal of outdoor seating. They consider their driveway as fine outdoor dining in a cold with no heater for a 2yrs old baby.

I am always in the lookout for great pizza places, and this is definitely in my top 5 in NJ. You can’t go wrong here if you are a fan of wood fire neapolitan pizza. My wife found this place on google and the reviews definitely encouraged us to try, and boy I am glad we did. It’s a small, cozy place, but looked like they have options to sit outdoors when the weather gets better. We were welcomed and served with a great smile, which always makes the food taste even better. We tried the Hot honey and a special pizza on their menu with purple potato base. They both were just yummy. The dough - cooked to the right amount of crispness and softness - was just what perfection is. The toppings, cheese, all tasted just fresh and delicious. I am definitely returning to this delightful place serving love in the form of pizza!

*THIS REVIEW IS FOR TAKEOUT ONLY*This might be a great pizza to eat it at the restaurant itself but it’s not good for takeouts. The crust is so thin that by the time I got back home from the restaurant (7 min drive), it wouldn’t even come off from the base of the box. We had to salvage whatever we could from both pizzas we had ordered. The ingredients are quality but it seems like we will have to go to the restaurant to truly appreciate their food.

We used Rafael for several parties with his mobile oven so it was a no brainer to visit the restaurant and have his awesome pizza whenever we want! We’ve been to the restaurant a few times and last night had the gnocchi special along with two pizzas. That gnocchi was AMAZING. The pizzas were fantastic as usual! The staff was incredible. Definitely check this spot out and make sure you have a reservation!!!

Named after the owner’s grandfather and located on Chestnut Street in Nutley, Emilio’s Wood Fire Pizza has been on my radar, and my partner and I finally came today for lunch as first-timers after opening. What started out as a backyard experience and through word-of-mouth crediting advice and encouragement from his family and Nutley native Mike Cosenza of Mike’s Pasta & Sandwich Shoppe has opened this family-owned establishment in 2022. Upon entering this cozy, warm setting with inviting decor, we were immediately greeted by the staff, who made us feel welcomed. The music was well selected and at an appropriate volume. Reservations are recommended as residents are familiar with them, and they get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. We decided to share one of today’s specials, the mushroom pizza (maitake and oyster mushrooms with tarragon and fontina cheese), which we downed with Pellegrino and Italian lemon soda. They truly use the freshest ingredients and creative flavors. The crust on every slice was very airy, which allowed one to enjoy the toppings a little bit more. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly, as was our server, Lilliana. Do yourself a favor and sit down and eat it there to ensure you get the pizza at its best, as it’s BYOB. It will be a world of difference, which we can highly recommend.
