Feels like a secret hideaway, very special, especially when you sit on the back patio. Attentive, professional service. Excellent food. BYOB. I wanted to order everything from the specials list. We went with burrata and escarole and bean soup to start, followed by lamb shank over pappardelle for my husband and pork Milanese for me. I moved away from NJ years ago and I want to move back just so I can eat like this again whenever I want. Lamb shank fell off the bone beautifully and my Milanese was simple and perfectly done with arugula, lemon and tomatoes. The soup had that perfect orangey broth and tasted like home. My husband— who is on a [losing] mission to convince me food is better in the South— admitted that the burrata was better than we’ve ever had in Charleston. Can’t wait until next time we are in town so we can come back.
Went to meet a friend for dinner. The waiter was so rude and dismissive that we left without eating.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and it was great! Fresh seafood, homemade gnocchi, delicious fennel salad, and the outside seating was perfect in August!

I decided to try this local restaurant for my birthday with my mom and good friend. We weren't super hungry and decided to share a few dishes. The menu is two pages long and pretty straight forward. Apps, Salads, Pastas, Meats and side dishes and dessert. Our tab was probably a bit over $100 yet we were informed by the waiter the the manager said next time we need to order an entree. We were shocked because this was very rude, it was not very busy and again we just wanted to eat a few dishes which non were 'described' as 'entree' ..... I have eaten all over the world including some killer Michelin star restaurants and have never been told what I must or must not order, needless to say I will not be returning, and will be supporting another local business who will benefit from my time and money!!
