I had never been to Frank’s before and came across the restaurant while driving around Oakland. I stopped into the strip mall and had some lunch. The selection of pizzas were really nice and I decided on a thick crusted slice of Meat Lovers pizza. \n\nIt was good but slightly overcooked and with the heating up of the pizza made it dry. It still tasted good but a little dry. It warrants another trip in the future.

We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer...

On the first chilly fall night we enjoyed excellent escarole and bean soup as well as black bean and prosciutto soup! We followed those huge bowls (which were so large we each took half home) with the best salad slice of pizza BAR NONE ANYWHERE, and delicious Eggplant Rollatini.

Frank’s isn’t just pizza but delicious Italian food as well. Angelo is a lovely and generous guy. Our only negative is that the bathrooms could surely use updating and improvement.
