On our vacation trip to ocean city NJ we decided on Mexican food for dinner one night. We had heard of El Guacamole earlier in the year so we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. Portions were large and the price was what I would have expected to pay at a Jersey shore restaurant. Tableside guacamole, burritos, tacos, and homemade salsas... yes please! This small restaurant is cash only, but worth every single penny!!!
We came here as a family while visiting OCNJ. I got the shrimp tacos and my husband got the fajitas. The food was really good and tasted very fresh.

The food is delicious and expertly prepared, with large portions and fair prices. The el pastor is excellent, and the fajitas with shrimp, chicken, and steak are piping hot. The horchata is a refreshing choice. The dining room is nice, and outdoor seating is available. Staff is great, service is quick, and the vibe is authentic. Ocean City finally has a really good Mexican restaurant. Be aware that it's cash only.
