Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday. The food was delicious and the plates were large, considering the prices seem really good compared to anywhere else at the shore or the rest of the state for that matter. Friendly staff and great experience. We loved it so much that we got takeout for lunch the next day. Again, everything was excellent. Kessel’s is a wonderful classic in OC. I was a bit surprised and very grateful to learn that they have the option to serve their delicious burgers on gluten free hamburger buns! The bun will never be as good as their original, but it was pretty good as GF bread goes. There are lots of reasons to visit Kessels for breakfast, ice cream, or dinner, and if you have celiac or a gluten allergy and need a really good burger, give them a try as well!
