Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard

Mentally, I am always at Kohr Brothers! I grew up with this amazing custard, and I’m never disappointed here. My favorite is their peanut butter custard with chocolate jimmies. You’ll definitely want to stop here when you’re in OCNJ!

I’m sure I’m not the only person that thinks $6 for a small, frozen custard on the Jersey boardwalk is outrageous! But, at least it was delicious. I just had plain vanilla, it was scorching hot and it was a welcome frosty uplifting treat! Frozen custard tastes a little bit different from regular soft serve ice cream, as it contains eggs so it’s richer and creamier! Yummy!!

My family and I go down to Ocean City, New Jersey every year for 10 days and Kohr Brothers ice cream is one of the highlights of the trip. We go every night because we love it so much. If you love soft-serve ice cream as much as I do, then this is the place for you. Every day they have the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and orange creamsicle, which is their most popular choice. They also rotate fun flavors like peanut butter, mint, and coffee, to name a few. If you prefer having more options including hard ice cream, there is a nearby place for your tastes. Kohr Brothers is conveniently located next to Playland rides right on the boardwalk, and right near the Impala Island Inn, a popular hotel for beachgoers. There is bench seating outside to enjoy your cones. At the end of the day, after enjoying the beach, or riding the amusement park rides, this ice cream is the perfect refreshing treat. My ultimate flavor combination is the classic vanilla cone that they dip into chocolate! I enjoy that they hold the ice cream over the chocolate dip so that the chocolate does not get all over your fingers. I would recommend Kohr Brothers!
