I order from here all the time but try to get it early because there always super busy. Never had a bad experience here and the staff is always on point. “Appetizers of Tostones rellenos was Amazing. Juicy and flavorful. Churrasco was cooked perfect and the lobster tail was seasoned to perfection. I will definitely come back here. The only thing they lack is fresh juices like parcha, tamarindo, guava, etc. and no bottled water. horrible considering the water they serve in the glass tastes like toilet water. The pineapple juice they served us she said was fresh. When I sipped it and asked again if it was fresh from a fruit. She said yes but not from fruit. From a can. Not sure what she meant by fresh but they’re juice options are horrible too. Just stick to alcoholic drinks or a beer and your good to go. Like I said. Loved the food and servers weee very attentive and nice.“

“I was at a local school and walked here for lunch after finding it on Google. The service was impeccable! I ordered the classic Dominican dish, "Tres Golpes" aka Three Hits and was super satisfied. I offered to pay but was told to eat my lunch first and deal with the bill later. I appreciated that.When I saw that the eggs were slightly runny, the young lady gladly took them back and recooked them. The place was filled with some old timers who were cracking jokes and enjoying each other's company as Jose Luis Rodriquez played in the background. One of the workers sat by me and ate his lunch. “Carmen’s is so good. If you want authentic Caribbean, Dominican food order from Carmen ‘s. I’m Puerto Rican and I food from here at least twice a month. The food is flavored. Well even the plain white rice you can eat by itself. The Mofongo is delicious the Pollo Guisado is bomb. There are a few Dominican restaurants in New Brunswick and I will drive by them to order from Carmen ‘s. I’m glad they’re on GrubHub and Uber eats because when I’m home I order from them too because I don’t live in New Brunswick“

Since learning about El Shaday, it has not only been my favorite place to eat pupusas but also my Salvadorian girlfriend's favorite place to eat pupusas! She claims she prefers the Pupusas here because they are prepared to the point where some chicharron and queso are leaking out and crisping up, as opposed to other Salvadorian restaurants in Central New Jersey. She appreciates the pupusas' greasiness and the plenty of stuffing inside. In addition to their delicious pupusas, I also like their tamales—both the chicken and the elote tamales! My other Salvadorian friend, who is not a local, says their traditional breakfasts are delicious and make him miss his home country.“

“I ordered Mexican pastries and bread from this location. The servers were nice and the place is wheelchair accessible (do not know the bathroom situation). There are some high counters but you can basically see all the food available through the glass. The actual breads were pretty yummy and fresh.“

When arriving, we had very minimal setup to finish on our end, as Angie's decorated perfectly to our taste, so elegant and clean, and cannot thank them enough for even going out of their way to move the display refrigerator out of our space for maximum room.

“Really well seasoned, good food.
You know how you go to some restaurants & you end up having to add seasoning to their food. Not so with any of the dishes here & I’ve had a least four different dishes. My favorites are the pepper steak & rice, and the Shrimp Alfredo.
Only draw back is that a couple of times they put too much juice w/pepper steak..it’s to greasy. That’s why four stars instead of 5.
Just tell them don’t add the juice.

Parking: The parking lot is small, most time we’ve gone there was a spot.
