“as I was so exhausted, so I thought about going to Evoo to relax. I had halloumi cheese seasoned with zatar and well grilled with honey and I had a cortada to drink. the whole experience was so perfect and it really made me feel so satisfied. The guy who served me was very calm and pleasant. this makes you at ease. one should definitely go to this place for great mediterranean food.“

“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. Thank You Koy Grill and an even bigger Thank You to Ali and Olivia for welcoming us and for providing us with a great restaurant experience.“

“I came in and ordered a Dhoom chicken sandwich and some fried chicken and I noticed they had biryani. In my twenty-two years of living I have never seen biryani on the menu of any halal platter/chicken shack place so I gave it a try expecting it to be mid. They are on par with a few of the restaurants in the area with that biryani and it's actually pretty cheap too at 12 bucks. They put a fair amount of meat in there too, like three pieces with a lot of rice. The Dhoom chicken sandwich was actually fresh and had some good toppings (onions, tomatoes) with tasty sauce. The fried chicken was a little greasy though. Even though Piscataway and NB are full of halal places if you're looking for something unique try these guys.“

“I went there for the first time tonight. (brick,nj) I actually liked the food BUT THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. I had never been there before and was unfamiliar with what and how to order. I got the lamb kebab and sweet potatoes. The lamb was unreal and the pita was the softest I've had since Israel, if not softer.

Service was smooth and friendly amd the wait was almost non existent. Tons of seating and great prices.“

Lamb Adana kababs were very authentic and really tasty I will suggest it as a must have if you like Mediterranean food. Also ordered Tas kabab, it was really good, the meat was really tender and gravy complimented the rice it was served with.“

“We were disappointed they weren’t open for in dining- only takeout. HOWEVER, we were delighted by our order- chicken shawarma and grape leaves. The young lady at the counter was sweet and personable.
We were impressed by the array of herb infused bottled vinegar that address a variety of ailments- curious about their effectiveness but at $50 a bottle didn’t want to gamble it.
We will be back for takeout and look forward to when they are open for dining.“

“We visited the New Brunswick, NJ location on March 11,2025 around 8:30pm and must say we are extremely disappointed with the service. Here’s our saga: we ordered chicken Kakab platter in person and asked the person behind the counter to put the olives, turnips and pickle on the side. It was shocking to hear that the guy told me that I have to pay extra. I told him again I am not asking for anything extra but just that I need my olives, pickand turnip which is on top to Be put in the side he reiterated and said that it will be an extra charge. The manager had put in a new policy in place. Is there any checks and balances in place to control this nonsense This is so bizarre….let me ask you this …. If I go to a burger joint and ask them for fries in a separate plate (again not extra) would they ask me for more money? What’s going on Mamouns? Not expecting from you guys…. Utter disgrace…. We have been your patrons since last 20 years ….. its makes us think twice if we really want to go to Mamouns again. This is totally unacceptable.“

“Was impressed with the decor, service and food. The BBQ burger was cooked perfectly! Made with fresh meat (not frozen formed patty) - not sure whst the English would be but I know it in Yiddish as “hockfleish.” The BBQ sauce added to the taste of the meat without being overpowering and the onion, pickle, lettuce and the challah bun were all extremely fresh. Looking forward to coming back snd trying the other choices!“

“I love this restaurant so much! I've ordered the grilled octopus appetizer two weeks in a row—it's absolutely delicious. The meat is tender and fragrant, absolutely worth a try. For my main course, I had the chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The accompanying olive bread was the perfect icing on the cake and complemented every dish perfectly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The service is personalized and relaxed, creating a homely dining experience. They also offer BYOB (Bring Your Own Wine), which is a real plus!
