Small but cute sized restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered the soondubu and she LOVED the flavor of the stock because it tastes more flavorful compared to other placeswe tried. Says it's her new favorite stew place.

Whoever is cooking at this place really likes ground black pepper. It looks like they put a heaping spoonful in my jjigae. Here is a suggestion -- add an actual spicy green pepper instead of black pepper. Chop up a serrano pepper when customers ask for it spicy.Vegetarian options: not available

The food was very salted we couldn't eat and they charged credit card fee.i was very disappointed .why customers paid everything. I think business owner responsibility pay for fee.they want get more profit .they should changed policy.

The food tastes good, but the rice is not very tasty. The rice seems old.

We ordered galchi jorim and Daegu maeuntang. So yummy. The mu absorbed the spicy sauce perfectly and was cooked just right in the jorim. They gave a nice variety of banchan. I could do with a little less msg (?) in the stew but other than that we enjoyed the meal very much and my house doesn't smell like a fish market, so all good ? I am definitely going back to this restaurant.

I was expecting plump soy sauce crab, but it wasn't that good.

If you're looking for some soy marinated crab, then bap do duk is the place to go! The soy marinated crab is just so fresh and so delicious. Savory and slightly sweet with a bit of a kick!Additionally, the jaeyuk bokkum (stir fried pork) was also delicious with a slight kick. A house favorite is any of the braised fish dishes. The sauce was just so yummy that I couldn't stop! Get there early before prime time because it's a small restaurant but also super busy. You won't regret it!

Probably the best Korean food this day. I used to like Chodangol in the city, but they changed. This place is the most reasonable price place, and I even pay $150 rental car to just visit here. Their crab and soybean stew are really good. I will suggest my friends to visit here. Super delish!

Everything we ordered came out quickly and was delicious. Not sure exactly what the difference is at this place compared to others but I really love the tea that they give you. We got a variety of soups and they all tasted great.

Overall quite good & I would likely do this place again, but a bit expensive (then again everyone raised prices). Braised Silver Pomfret & Yukgaejang were both quite good. Likeable main & side dishes + staff. I will take some pics next time.If you want good enough quality at reasonable prices, then this would do.

After having very heavy meals in NJ, we wanted something light and more homey so we decided to check out Bap Do Duk, which apparently is known to have the best soy marinated raw crabs in NJ.We went on an early dinner time and we were able to be sat right away. The place is pretty small, so it may be busier. It feels like your typical old-school Korean restaurant; nice older Korean ladies serving you and a menu of Korean traditional dishes. We opted to get the soy marinated crab doduk bapsang, which also comes with soybean paste stew. We also got an order of the jju-sam which is marinated small octopus and pork belly. Our food came out relatively quickly, and I was so delighted to see raw marinated crabs. It's really hard to find places anywhere in America that do these dishes well, but they looked so plump and flavorful. We dug in right away and I was pleased that it tasted absolutely phenomenal! It truly is a rice thief because these things are just to die for when paired with rice.I can't underhype the jju-sam either because there was plenty of meat and seafood in the dish and it was marinated/cooked to perfection. We had an absolutely delightful meal here and I felt like I was eating at my grandmother's home. The servers took really good care of us and I cannot wait to be back!
