This is honestly the best gimbap in town. It tastes amazing every single time I order. The ingredients are always fresh, well balanced, and consistent. I’ve never been disappointed.
Cafe Oak on Broad Ave in Palisades Park is much more than just drinks and pastries — it’s a true mecca for Korean sushi, better known as kimbap. The selection is impressively diverse, with a wide range of options that all look tempting. I tried three different varieties, each priced at $8.50 or more — not exactly cheap, but all were quite tasty.
That said, a quick heads-up: the rice tends to be on the slightly mushy side. There’s nothing inherently wrong...

Someone recommended I try rice-free kimbap, so I gave it a shot. Honestly, it's not bad as a diet option. I also tried the mustard kimbap—but speaking as someone with high standards, I wouldn’t really call this a proper kimbap place. The rice (what little there was) felt just slapped on, and the anchovy kimbap was a bit too salty. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.
