There are many Korean bakeries in NJ, but this bakery is far the best one!
I tried first time in the summer while I visited my brother and came back.
We tried many varieties and loved all; chestnut loaf bread, black cheese bread, thousand layer pastry, milk bread and Soboro red bean/ matcha bread.
Can’t wait to come back to try other cakes in the near future.

Beautiful space and a lot of it they have so many pastries cakes breads and sandwiches to take away. So many fresh baked treats. The seating area has a nice amount of table and counter plus outdoor seating. Right off of the 166 stop njt. Very efficient service.

I found this spot on TikTok and really wanted to check it out as the pastries looked delicious and I love a good local bakery so I brought my family in to pick up some goodies before a road trip. A exciting adventure quickly turned into an uncomfortable one as every single team member working resorted to staring at myself, my husband, and my daughter just waiting patiently for us to figure out what we wanted. My daughter quickly noted ‘please hurry up, I don’t like that everyone is staring at us we are just shopping like everyone else’. One lady at the register whispered to the other shorter girl at the kiosk, pointed at us and continued to talk. There were other customers in the store at the time but I guess only our presence sparked gossip. I couldn’t help to notice my family being the only African American blended folk in the room. We quickly paid for our goods and left. My husband immediately said ‘we can never go here again, I guess we weren’t fair skinned enough for our business to be wanted’. Truly the most horrific experience I’ve had as an Edgewater resident. I can assure you my family are respectable human beings and just because our skin color may not be as light as everyone else’s, doesn’t make us stand out, doesn’t make us different. So to my colored community, stay away from here !
Overpriced but that’s what it is nowadays with these bakeries. The bread is good but not worth these ridiculous high prices. The atmosphere is loud, uncomfortable and feels like marketplace rather than a cafe. The worst and the reason for the one star is the staff. They unfriendly and seems like they do not like working there or being there. Especially this tall Korean guy who works there—asked a simple question and he looked like he chewed on stones facial expression. Why you work at customer base when you obviously don’t like people..? I been here many times and it’s never a good experience with staff. Poor management or quality staff control.

In love with their grapefruit cake - so delicious
I went here today to buy a birthday cake. As someone who bakes myself, I asked if I could have the cake from the front since it looked fresher. The girl working there told me she normally couldn’t do that, but because she was “nice,” she would give it to me. I found that comment ridiculous, and it really makes me wonder what kind of instructions the owner gives their staff on how to sell cakes. I don’t think I’ll ever be buying a cake from this place again.

The place offers a wide variety of sweet bread options, and the music is upbeat and lively. Some tables are designed for groups of four.

Customer service is horrible!
As the other person mentioned, Hispanic lady who claims is the manager is extremely rude and ignorant.
They wont heat up any bread so if you see a sandwhich or item that needs to be heated like the corn cheese bread… they wont. Customer service is from all hispanic staff and pretty bad…
No management in sight.
They also do not give you a box for left-overs, just a paper-bag.
Paris Baguette and EVERY other bakery / cafe heats up your food but this place does not. And they also do not provide to-go boxes.
Worst service ever.

I've never left on review before but Yesterday was my first visit to this bakery and I’m grateful because there were a lot of people and one of the staff members was bleeding from his finger but he kept continuing to smile and help other customers first and other staff members. I don’t know his name but he was one of the best workers I've ever seen.
