I would describe this place like a warm sweater on a cool day. We discovered this place by accident. There are only 3 tables inside, I think there are a few more in the back outside. This is some of the best grilled eel I've ever had, including in Korea and Japan, but at Palisades Park. The eel soup was surprisingly hearty and feels very home like. The food is delicious. The lady is very nice. I love their seafood pancake. It’s very thick. It has a lot of squid. I think their eel is pretty fresh, not heavily seasoned. so if you like something heavily seasoned ,that might be not for you, I think generally people prefer the seasoned eel.

The owner was really sweet and nice. The service was great as the owner provided more refills of side dishes if needed but even provided toddler friendly utensils for my son.
The taste of the eel reminded me of when I had it in Korea. They did a really good job of cooking it. I couldn't take more pictures because of my son but here is one photo.
