They are unable to manage the entire dining hall alone; they need to hire at least one more person for the weekend.

It's a LOT of food. The minimum order quntity for their dakgalbi is 2 servings, and that's a 2 servings in the pan in the picture, which actually felt like 4 servings. We ordered half a fried chicken and that was an overkill. Ended up bringing more than half the food home as a leftover.Make sure you bring a group of 3-4 if you want to order dakgalbi, especially if you're gonna order fried rice after the dakgalbi.the food itself was great. Both the dakgalbi and fried chicken. Would come again

Let me get to the point... be aware! The place was quiet and clean but the food... we ordered mild, it was not spicy and quite good but short after it gave massive stomach aches and heart burns.

We came here hungry and left full. The food was delicious with generous portions. Our waitress made our experience very comfortable as if we were visiting a family friend. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are availableWheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator in the building

I came at 8:15 pm on a Wednesday with my girlfriend and there was no one at the front. We waited for 5 minutes and still no one came to the front to seat us. One of the bus boys came out and I asked him if we could sit. He barely spoke any english and just said “no more” and then walked away.We stood there for another 5 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the back and still no one came out to seat us. Finally the same bus boy came out again and I asked if we could sit. He said “no…busy..sorry” and then walked off again. Only 4 tables in the entire restaurant were occupied. How could the restaurant possibly be so busy that it can’t handle 4 occupied tables?I don’t understand why a restaurant would advertise that they close at 10:30pm and stop serving food at 8:15pm. Also, the fact that for over 10 minutes there was no one in the front to seat people. The lack of service is utterly ridiculous.

Whenever I’m craving something cheesy, I always beg my friends to come here with me. The dakgalbi is consistently amazing every time I visit and the spice level is just right — not too painful but not too mild. I love how there’s fried sweet potato added on top and you can get other add ons if you want for an extra price. Note that you have to get at least two servings, which is enough to feed at least 3-4 people. Make sure you get the fish roe rice too (you won’t regret it :)) — my boyfriend and I got it shaped in a heart which was really cute.

First time trying dakgalbi and have to say definitely won't be my last. We came in at 5:30pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Started getting packed around 7.Really loved the dakgalbi. The stove underneath keeps your mozzarella cheese gooey the whole sitting. Plenty of chicken and kimchi in the dish. We added glass noodles and gimmari. Everything tasted super fresh and very flavorful. I love spicy food but know the Koreans don't mess around so we ordered ours mild. Let me tell you that I think the mild is perfectly spicy. Medium probably would have been way too spicy to be enjoyable IMO.The cheesy corn and steamed egg that come with your meal was also cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I also enjoyed the small side dishes that were given in the beginning. At the very end we decided to use our leftovers for the fried rice. They add egg, dried seaweed, and beansprouts. It had a wonderful bottom crust and came out as an adorable heart. The staff was also very kind.

The food is good! But it takes time to be served. So if you dont like waiting, this is not a good place. However if you have enough time to enjoy your meal and chat in a quiet place, this will work for you.

Oh my gosh! My fiance and I walked away extremely disappointed with this place. I've been craving dakgalbi so my fiance surprised me by taking me here. I haven't had dakgalbi since leaving Korea pre-pandemic so this was my first time having it in US. This was nothing like how dakgalbi is served in Korea. In Korea the meat, vegetables, and tteokbbokki are all brought to your skillet in front of you. So you literally see your food cooking in front of you. Here, everything is done in the back. Food is already cooked in the skillet and just placed on a warmer at your table. Another thing I did not like was how confusing the pricing was in the menu. I told my partner that there was a fine print stating the price we see is only for one portion but we HAVE to buy 2 minimum. We got the cheese dakgalbi which was $24.99 therefore it was $50 after placing our order. Funny thing is one order would have been perfect for us as we were not too hungry. We really enjoyed the food but had lots of leftovers. So we ordered two bowls of rice which was $5 each! Once again it was not cooked in front of us. They took the skillet to the back! Like what?! To compare it to Korea, cooked rice is dropped into your skillet in front of you and they mix it . Not here. When our skillet came back out, we were shocked. Literally all the chicken, cabbage, and tteokbbokki were nowhere to be found. We saw tiny pieces of chicken. But we had lots of chicken bites left when they took the skillet. Where did our leftovers go?! By this time, we were so mad, we got a to-go bowl and left. About $70 spent for a bad dining experience. It was definitely a red flag when we saw the majority of the other tables were eating something different and not the dakgalbi. 2 stars because the food was good and the customer service was also good. We also enjoyed the egg side dishes. But all of this is not enough to recommend this place.

Dakgalbi pot is new to me, and i like it! Medium spicy is already very spicy to me, next time might just get lowest level…Definitely worth a try.

UPDATE: We came back! The owner was clearly the only one working tonight and seemed super overwhelmed, but she was so kind to us and apologized many times for the wait. The dakgalbi was just as good as last time and we were sure to order extra fried sweet potato this time :) This is absolutely our go-to spot whenever we're in town.-Cheese Dakgalbi absolutely hits the spot. Service was excellent and attentive, complimentary sides (corn cheese and steamed egg) were outstanding, and value was good for a LOT of food. I didn't expect to like the fried sweet potato as much as I did, and I'm a little obsessed now!! 100% coming back and recommending others here.
