Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! “The confetti cake cookie was the best thing that ever happened to me, the best cookie I have ever taste in my entire life span. I was around the area and I thought that crumbl cookie was a good option to get for dessert, and saw that soft rich frosting on the beautiful cookie on this weeks cookies. I knew I was going to enjoy this heaven sent cookie once I arrived home. I got a giant glass of milk and took a bite of the pink confetti sprinkled dessert and instantly fell in love. My mouth violently watered with joy as my teeth sunk into the velvety frosting of the cookie of my dreams, and then bit into the sugar cookie base which was just as delightful as the pink vanilla cream cheese frosting. As my eyes lit up with joy, my teeth were automatically chewing down on the cookie, and it couldn’t stop myself even if I wanted to. I closed my eyes and imagined the perfect dessert. sugar cookie, Rich pink frosting,and confetti sprinkles to top it off. Sounds amazing. Once I opened my eyes, I gazed at the cookie with love as I chomped down on the dessert once again. “Drove past the sign saying Nothing Bundt Cakes and thought that if this turned out to be a bakery selling nothing but bundt cakes then this would make for a pricelessly bad pun. Had to visit... and they sell nothing but artisanal bundt cakes. Entire cakes and individuals baked fresh daily. Not supermarket processed but pretty moist and dense if not exactly homemade. Very easy and friendly grab and go reasonably priced. Got the seasonal pumpkin one around Thanksgiving which was like a modified carrot cake.“

“Decor is vibrant, colorful, and casual. Lots of places to sit. Staff is always super friendly and very helpful for explaining things. Lots of personal attention if you have questions about the food or any allergy issues. A lot of times, staff have offered to get me things fresh out of the oven. Their pan de queso and pastries are absolutely some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I usually come for a morning coffee and a snack, and have not had a chance to try their short rib soup. But based on how good it looks, it is very high on my list for a lunch meal.“

“I finally made it to Kirshenbaum for a quick morning bite. I got a parking space right in front at 830am which was a nice surprise. The space has plenty of comfy seating. All the pastries look awesome and it is all made in house. I had a curry pocket which hit the spot. All got a bunch of sandwiches for lunch. I enjoyed the egg salad which was on the lighter side. The brie and jam panini was a great balance of savory and sweet. The finish it off I got a slice of carrot cake which was outstanding- not too much icing and the cake was super moist.“

“This is my third cake order from Suzi and let me say the cakes get even better each time. In my almost thirty years on this earth, suzi cakes are by far the most amazing cakes I’ve ever had. Not only is the cake so flavorful and moist, the detail in the design is so perfect and carefully crafted. Worth every penny. She’s my go to girl for any custom cake orders. I’ll never go to anyone else and always recommend her to all my family and friends.

My cake was white cake with Oreo mousse filling and it was DELICIOUS. Need to hide the leftovers from my husband so I can enjoy it all by myself lol

Side note, saw a negative review about someone complaining about the taste of their cake. Sounds like a them problem. That person must be out of their skull because I’m incredibly picky and particular about my sweets and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Suzi, so don’t believe the nonsense. Five stars all around for Suzi.

“Great quality bread, pastries and dips, but the coffee is on the pricier side. A large filter coffee was over $6 and was rather small so not sure if I was given the wrong cup. Highly recommend the cheese and mushroom croissant and labneh though!“

“I have to preface this with 2 things: my (now) husband and I both were born and raised in NJ before moving to FL and I grew up on Callandra’s at every family function. We couldn’t do the testing for obvious reasons, but I knew the cake would be great. Everyone was amazed when it came out. It was GORGEOUS! I worked with Aisha, who did tell me that the portions were generous. That was an understatement. I don’t think a single guest was able to finish their slices and took them home. The cake itself was the best I have ever had. Even the staff was able to have some.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because communication in the days before the wedding was nonexistent. Having driven from S. Florida, there was no way to drop the cake topper off without going a few hours out of our way and neither of us were in any shape to drive from Sussex County to Caldwell that Friday. (We also forgot by the time we reached the state being so exhausted). I was told that the top would be left clear if we didn’t have an opportunity to bring the topper in, but we heard nothing about it having been delivered. I had to ask one of the restaurant staff at the reception to make sure it did arrive. Everything else far exceeded anything we hoped.
I can’t recommend this bakery enough for any special occasion (or even a mixed platter/box for family gatherings; just make sure if you have more than one chocolate fiend to buy extra brownies to prevent arguments). The flowers on the table itself were ours.“

The bread is so tasty nothing like in the store. Our daugther was diagnosed with Celiac disease in Jan. “Friendly neighborhood cafe. Coffee and lattes are excellent. They do seasonal drinks and hot chocolate in the winter. Probably the best lattes in the area. The bagels are always hot and fresh. It gets pretty busy on weekends but they are really efficient. There’s a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is on the street or a lot across the street. If you order bacon or Taylor ham on your sandwich, there is a lot of it. They really don’t skimp. The prices are good comparatively. A bacon egg and cheese bagel was under 8 dollars, and I will be full all day. So much crispy bacon. Service is always friendly, even when they are slammed.“

“The quality of the goods is second to none. We catered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from the Shrewsbury location and it was top tier in all respects. It’s not just the Italian specialty items that are excellent, it’s the whole range of prepared foods. The meat and fish departments are like the neighborhood markets of my youth. The employees are courteous and available and knowledgeable. The people who work there care about the customers and seem to like their jobs. If you’re a food person (whether you like to cook or just eat - for me it’s both) don’t miss this place. I love it even for regular grocery shopping. One note: you get what you pay for and here you get a lot so expect higher (but not insanely so) prices. It is well worth it.“
