We had such a fantastic experience at The Dairy in Lake Hiawatha! Karen, the owner, and her daughter are not only incredibly talented but also genuinely kind and caring. They went above and beyond to create a stunning custom ice cream cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. From the beautiful decorations to the delicious flavor, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. You can tell they put their heart into their work.

The cake was a huge hit—my daughter was thrilled, and all the guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it tasted. It’s rare to find that perfect mix of quality, creativity, and outstanding customer service. If you're looking for a special treat or a custom cake that’s both beautiful and delicious, I can’t recommend The Dairy enough. We'll definitely be back!

Came in for a late night treat and the soft-serve was exactly what I was looking for!

Food: The large helping of soft-serve was super creamy and delicious down to the last bite. And even though the summer heat is starting to set in the soft serve held-up and melted very slowly.
Service: The friendly staff was very quick with our orders and with all the different ice cream flavors that enticed me, I will definitely make many return trips.
Atmosphere: This place has the energy of a local staple. It’s easy to imagine coming here with your basketball team after a game or after some finals. The seating area is also a big plus if you want to just sit, eat your ice cream, and chat.

Such a great neighborhood spot. Delicious ice cream, creative and scrumptious ice cream sandwiches, and my favorite, shakes and floats! I come regularly all year round.

What an amazing team of people working at this establishment! Not only are they so kind and helpful, the icecream is made in store and they are DELICIOUS!!!
