Went in for a sugar free ice cream the options where vanilla or chocolate choose the chocolate but i think it was some kind of cake batter chocolate ice cream ( I do not like cake batter, cookie dough etc…..)
Which there were more sugar free options

So many flavors....so hard choices.

Ice cream was denied to my friend and his son because my friends son had an accident inside the establishment. The kid is 5 years old and couldn't make it to the restroom in time. An ACCIDENT. My friend apologized and cleaned it up. Afterwards he went to ask for ice cream so he can go back home. But was denied since other people in there would be disgusted by it.
The kid cried and my friend asked again but was denied.
Horrible way to handle situations like this.

I've never been disappointed. Staff always smile to you. and ice cream is always delicious.

We had such a fantastic experience at The Dairy in Lake Hiawatha! Karen, the owner, and her daughter are not only incredibly talented but also genuinely kind and caring. They went above and beyond to create a stunning custom ice cream cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. From the beautiful decorations to the delicious flavor, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. You can tell they put their heart into their work.

The cake was a huge hit—my daughter was thrilled, and all the guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it tasted. It’s rare to find that perfect mix of quality, creativity, and outstanding customer service. Came in for a late night treat and the soft-serve was exactly what I was looking for!

Food: The large helping of soft-serve was super creamy and delicious down to the last bite. And even though the summer heat is starting to set in the soft serve held-up and melted very slowly.
Service: The friendly staff was very quick with our orders and with all the different ice cream flavors that enticed me, I will definitely make many return trips.
Atmosphere: This place has the energy of a local staple. It’s easy to imagine coming here with your basketball team after a game or after some finals. The seating area is also a big plus if you want to just sit, eat your ice cream, and chat.
