Very professional. Nice and friendly staff. The food is delicious, amazing and tasty. Great vibes with remarkable people and employees. Belly dancers every Friday and Saturday nights. I extremely enjoyed it and loved it. I will definitely keep going back to eat there. I strongly and highly recommend this place for everyone. Not pricey at all and very affordable. The owner and his staff are very welcoming and adorable. It is my favorite spot.

A hidden gem! The best birthday venue for adults (group of 20+)! The food was exceptional as well as the staff. The belly dancers were the best part of it! They were wildly entertaining and engaging. Amin was easy to coordinate with and we did not run into any issues at all. We cannot wait to come back.

A special thanks to Amin, the wait staff, the chefs and the amazing dancers. We had 20 people for my wife's birthday and everyone has raved about how much fun they had and how great the food was. The atmosphere was excellent and the dancers were very engaging, getting even the most conservative of guests to dance and participate. The Moroccan cigars are to die for and the lamb was so so tender, herbal, and flavorful. Byob is always clutch, especially when you have friends who love to party like ours, and the wait staff restocked our ice buckets in whirlwind fashion. From the entertainment, service, and presentation of it all, I cannot recommend this place more. Thank you again Marrakesh.

We had such a cool experience at Marakesh. The belly dancer was very beautiful, talented and her performance was very alluring. She was also interactive with the audience which everyone enjoyed. Ameen, Jane and all the staff provided the best service. The hospitality along with the hookah, decor and food truly showcased their culture at its best. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. We enjoyed the dips and cigar appetizers. The rose water and mint lemonade was also a favorite. It was my husband’s birthday and he had a wonderful time. We ended the dinner with a complimentary treat of pistachio cake which was so delicious and some tea. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. Thank you 🥰

I visited this restaurant expecting a larger space, but it was smaller than anticipated. They offered only one menu option priced at $42 + $3 for belly dancing + gratuity per person, with dishes meant to be shared rather than individually plated, which was an interesting approach. The décor was attractive, and the lamb was quite good; however, the chicken was disappointing, and the rice seemed undercooked. Overall, it’s an okay place to try, but for the portion sizes and the price, it doesn’t feel like a great value. The highlight was the outstanding customer service, which is why I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars.

I have to give it an overall 3 stars unfortunately. As someone that has gone to this place about 3-4 times before this last time and before they closed for renovations, I am not satisfied with the food. The lamb looked so amazing but it was lacking flavor, the rice tasted like the rice you can buy pre-made inside a microwaveable bag. The shrimps were a bit over seasoned too. The belly dancing show did not exceed my expectations, it was nice but from what I recall, it used to be longer and maybe it was not as lively due to the weather or crowd that was there at the same time as us but I am sad that I won’t think of this place for future birthdays.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Marakesh in Parsippany last night! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance transported us straight to Morocco — warm lighting, beautiful decor, and a cozy, vibrant atmosphere. The service was top-notch.
The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special. Their hospitality really stood out and added a personal touch to the night.

“Delicious Moroccan food and great service” I tried the zaalook, lamb tagine with prunes, and chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives . every dish was full of flavor and perfectly spiced. Lovely atmosphere and professional service. A truly authentic Moroccan experience, highly recommended!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! “Marrakech” isn’t just a name it truly felt like a trip back to Morocco From the traditional welcome to the cozy salon-style seating everything was full of warmth and love The Moroccan vibes were on point the music, the decor, and the whole atmosphere made me feel like I was sitting in a real Moroccan home. The service was amazing, and the food even better! I had the lamb tagine, chicken tagine with olives, zaalouk, and of course, the famous Moroccan mint tea — all bursting with authentic flavor It was more than just a meal, it was a beautiful experience filled with nostalgia and joy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real taste of Morocco!
