I changed my review to a 1 star. We had ordered 1 tray chicken biryani, half tray combo platter and chicken hakka noodles and requested food to be ready by 7 pm. The food wasn't ready until 8pm! The biryani was bland - no taste at all, there was no chicken in the hakka noodles - just plain boiled noodles , no hariyali chicken in the combo platter.Very disappointed.Previously-We ordered for catering and the food was excellent. Great customer service.highly recommended

Very tasty Indian buffet at a very reasonable price. All dishes are not made less spicy as some buffets do. Don't look for ambiance here, just good food in a simple setting.

I am really happy with the food we got today from this restaurant. We got Pottlam Biriyani and Tandoori platter both of them tasted very tasty and flavourful. Specially pottlam Biriyani was wrapped in omlette and chk pieces inside which was really a visual treat . highly recommend this restaurant .

We went to celebrate my dad 75th birthday last Saturday. We booked party hall. All foods were excellent and everything tasted good, fresh and the spice levels are right in place. We loved the appetizers , dal & specially shrimp curry was too good. Staff is very friendly & helpful . We did receive excellent service for my event. All my guests were very pleased and happy. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try tasty foods.

Came in for the lunch buffet on a weekday. Owner was very attentive andMeal was affordable. Soda/water is included with the price of buffetSmall selection but the food was excellent. Spice levels were perfect. It really hit the spot for me.

Great place for takeout! Food was ready quickly, and the staff is always nice. Good portion size and the food is always great. I usually get the garlic naan and items from the Indo-Chinese section of the menu. The chicken vindaloo is very good as well.

Good food and awesome owner always attentive to the customers

I ordered take out.No rice in bag , Mango Lassi was terrible out of a carton. The main curry I ordered was a small little container and the paneer was inedible hard as a rock and tasted frozen or in fresh. I took one taste of the curry and dumped it in the trash. What a waste of $32 !!! Don’t order from here !

We had chicken lollipop take out and we had it after 45s min after reaching our home by travelling for 45 mins. It was delicious even after 45mins, compared to other Indian restaurants near by areas the price was reasonable and taste was good ever we had.We would like to have a full course meal to enjoy the same kind of feel.

Has been taken over by new management and the taste has improved. The buffet is the cheapest i have seen anywhere and carries a lot of stuff. You can even pack and take away buffet which is a very good option on weekdays. All in all value for the price

This place is amazing! My fiancé and I are always looking for new Indian restaurants to eat at and I found this one on Google with photos of yummy looking food. I always order Biryani whenever I go out to an Indian Restaurant and this place is definitely in my top 3. We will be back again! Btw my fiancé got the tandoori pomfret and the fish was tender and just perfect with the spices. Highly recommend! You will not regret it.

i don't normally write reviews but I had to write this review. a very big shoutout to taj mahal restuarant for taking care of last minute catering order for my kids birthday party :):) i cannot thank you enough. many couldn't do it last minute but taj mahal took the order friday night and delivered it for saturday lunch without any issue. their prices were very reasonable and the food was one of the highlight of the party. everyone were very happy with the veg and non veg items esp the briyani. you guys made the day for us!!

Great indian lunch buffet and reasonable prices!

Tried Taj mahal after friend recommended. name looks north Indian but they have good mix of north & south Indian items. the food was really A1 & the pricess were low than other restaurant in Parsippany. service is also great.goat briyani is my favorite here
